In 2008, two festivals took place in the Harrogate area; Gracefest in February at Baildon Scout Camp and 3135 The Journey at Ripon Cathedral. Both were succesul and built up significant momentum among youth and youth leaders alike from across the Harrogate District and beyond. The support has stayed strong, and in 2009 Grace Sinclair from Gracefest and Jason Lowe from 3135 The Journey combined the two festivals into one. The collaboration would result in a stronger team working on one, bigger and better festival.
